About
Felix, Sophie's toy rabbit, discovers Professor Smork's faulty time machine in a museum; it brings two exhibits to life and starts a journey through time.
On a rainy Sunday, Sophie and her family visit a natural history museum. While her father gives a long lecture on Nefertiti in ancient Egypt, Felix (voiced by Patrick Flecken), Sophie's toy rabbit, grows bored and goes looking for more exciting exhibits. In a side room he finds the virtual time machine built by the eccentric Professor Smork (Hans Werner Olm). The machine is not quite finished: instead of showing scenes from the past, it brings two museum exhibits to life. A small mammoth named Wolli (Domenic Redl) and a sea turtle named Gertrude (Sunnyi Melles) appear beside Felix. The three are then catapulted into a journey through time. Sophie and Professor Smork try to get the machine back to the present.
