About
A chicken escapes a farm, takes refuge at a restaurant, finds love, challenges the pecking order and tries to protect her eggs from a cook.
György Pálfi's Hen centres on a chicken who escapes from a farm and takes refuge in the outdoor area of a restaurant. There the bird discovers love, defies the pecking order and tries to protect her eggs from a cook who wants them. Pálfi directed the 97-minute film.
The chicken is the story's main figure and its central character. Her move from the farm to the restaurant also brings her into contact with the pecking order and with the cook.
