About
Three childhood friends, Hani, Kasih and Saya, meet again after years, while everyday racism keeps shaping their lives.
Milena Aboyan's German drama Drei Kameradinnen centres on three childhood friends: Hani, Kasih and Saya, played by Brikena Ray, Bayan Layla and Manal Raga'a Sabit. After years apart, the three meet again to attend a friend's wedding. Their reunion brings back a shared history, and in their everyday lives they keep encountering racism. Their long friendship, formed in their youth, is what gives them strength. The film follows the three women as they spend time together and face the prejudices around them.
