About
An ostracized doctor who carries a virus lives alone in the mountains and plans to cross the Alps with another excluded young woman.
During an epidemic, the doctor Hanna loses her family to a contagious disease. Because she carries the virus, she is shut out from society and has lived alone in the mountains ever since. There she meets Lila, a young woman who is also excluded. Hanna takes care of her, and the two make a plan: they want to cross the Alps and head south, hoping to live in freedom there. Nina Hoss plays Hanna and Precious Mariam Sanusi plays Lila; Barbara Petritsch appears as Die Alte and Johannes Nussbaum as Skifahrer.
