About
A French documentary following trainees at the Administration Pénitentiaire over six months as they learn prison work and its moral minefield.
At France's prison officer academy, hundreds of men and women train to become prison guards. The documentary follows trainees at the Administration Pénitentiaire over six months as they learn about prison work and the moral minefield of prison life. Among the questions it raises are how to treat a prisoner, which protocols must be followed strictly and which can be handled more loosely, and how reality compares with what is taught at school. Guillaume Massart directed the French documentary film.
