About

Das gewisse Etwas is a German comedy from 2026 directed by Marc Rothemund, with a screenplay by Murmel Clausen. It is a new version of the French film Was ist schon normal? (2024). The cast includes Max von der Groeben, Mala Emde and Florian Lukas; Lorenzo Germeno plays Marko and Jasmin Schwiers plays Mona.
Polly, a social worker, travels with her colleagues Marko and Mona and a group of young people with disabilities to a holiday camp in the Alpine foothills. After a jewellery theft, Karlo and his son Alex try to hide from the police among the travellers. Polly takes Alex for a new arrival and Karlo for his personal carer. The two try to keep up the pretence for as long as possible.
