About
A new resident finds an old tape and becomes absorbed in the story of the previous occupant, confronting patterns of control and silence.
In Cyclus, Marit (Milou van den Boogerd) finds an old cassette in her new room. She becomes absorbed in the story of Lisa (Britt Scheltens), the previous occupant, whose story is on the tape. As Marit listens, the secrets of Lisa's life unfold and the chance discovery slowly becomes a confrontation with patterns of control, power and silence. The film explores the subtle red flags of partner abuse in teenage lives and the dilemma between taking action and closing your eyes.
