About
A swordfighter is sent to rescue a governor's kidnapped son from bandits, and a beggar known as Drunken Cat comes to her aid.
Set in China during the Ming dynasty, Come Drink with Me follows Golden Sparrow (Cheng Pei-pei), a skilled swordfighter sent to rescue the governor's kidnapped son. The boy is held by bandits led by Jade Faced Tiger (Chen Hung-Lieh), who demand that their imprisoned leader be released. At a local inn, Golden Sparrow confronts the bandits and demonstrates her martial skill. A local beggar known as Fan Dapei, or Drunken Cat (Elliot Ngok Wah), covertly comes to her aid and saves her from an ambush that night.
