About
In a near-future Britain, gang leader Alex DeLarge is offered an invasive procedure after the state cracks down on juvenile crime.
In a near-future Britain, Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) leads a gang of droogs: Georgie (James Marcus), Dim (Warren Clarke) and Pete (Michael Tarn). Their evenings are filled with violent crime, including fighting a rival gang and beating a vagrant. Alex is also interested in classical music, especially Beethoven. After the state takes an interest in juvenile crime, an incarcerated Alex is offered an invasive procedure intended to remove his personal agency. The film is Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Anthony Burgess’s 1962 novel.
