About
A documentary follows George, a shy sixteen-year-old in Athens with misaligned eyes, who finds refuge in insects and a cricket named Isabella.
Bugboy is a documentary by Lucas Paleocrassas, produced as a co-production between Greece, France and Denmark. It follows George, a shy sixteen-year-old from Athens with misaligned eyes. After his parents go through a painful divorce, he finds it difficult to make contact with other people. He spends his time observing insects and grows attached to a cricket he names Isabella. Animals offer him comfort, while contact with people is complicated. Yorgos Avgerinos, Paraskevi Makri, Kostas Avgerinos and Ilektra Datsiou appear as themselves.
