What to expect
The Ossenmarkt is a centuries-old traditional annual market that attracts thousands of visitors. It has a large braderie, flea market, standwerkersconcours, art, old crafts and the Puttense Boerendansers.
Puttens Historisch Genootschap demonstrates threshing with rye straw brought by horse and wagon. Two antique threshing machines are used, along with a threshing stick and flail, and the grain is cleaned with a wanne molen.
