About
Mechanical robots is a workshop at OCCII Kinderpret in Amsterdam on 9 December 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00. Children make a moving object and learn techniques from Fred and Mirjam of Electric Circus.
What to expect
Children make a moving object, with or without motors and batteries.
- Use a clever mechanism
- It is still a surprise what they make
- Maybe a cross between bibberbotjes and passive walkers
- Maybe a small automaton
- Or something else, like mechanical puppet play
- Fred and Mirjam teach new movement techniques
- A must for budding inventors
