Welcome to My Dream

What to expect

Felix Meritis becomes the stage for Juny Martina’s dream world, with music, film, performance and visual art.

The evening unfolds as a dream within a dream.

Zion Piggot hosts and guides the audience through chapters of Martina’s imagined world, while live performances and visual works interrupt, challenge and reshape the narrative.

Moving between different worlds and social realities, Juny Martina explores tensions between theory and lived experience, rap and other music genres, Curaçao and the Netherlands, Papiamentu and Dutch, and the individual and the collective.

The night is about ambition, class, identity, the desire to be seen, and the distance between who we are and who we think we need to become.
