About
Philipp Schaller brings SIE MICH AUCH! - update 2026, his first Best-of programme, to Herkuleskeule in Dresden on Tuesday, 22 June 2027 at 19:30.
What to expect
Philipp Schaller is artistic director of Herkuleskeule, has written cabaret texts for many years, and has performed on stage himself for seven years.
Other cabaret artists also perform his texts, including Berliner Distel, Gisela Oechelhaeuser, Erik Lehmann, Michael Frowin and Ellen Schaller.
In his first Best-of programme, he performs and reads texts he considers especially important, without playing characters.
He asks questions rather than preaching morals to the audience.
- Texts range from silly to pitch-black
- Timeless and very current
- Played and read by Schaller
- Not always funny, but consistently comic
- He targets himself, not others
- Irony bridges ideological trenches
- No middle ground on peace and war
