Community guidelines

25 October 2026

Crowd lets people going to the same event chat with each other before, during and after it, and send each other direct messages. These guidelines say what is and is not allowed. They are part of the terms of Evenitto. Hosts (organisers, venue teams and artists with a Host badge) may remove messages that break them; Evenitto's moderators may remove messages and people.

1. The basics

  • You must be 16 or older to use Crowd, and 18 or older to join the crowd of an event marked 18+ (or the event's own higher minimum age). Give your real birth month; do not use Crowd for someone else.
  • Be yourself. Do not pretend to be another person, an organiser, an artist or Evenitto.
  • One account per person. Do not get around a ban or a suspension with another account.
  • Treat people the way you would at the event itself.

2. Spam and unwanted promotion

No advertising, bulk messages, chain messages or the same message in many chats. No promotion of unrelated events, products, channels or accounts. Sharing the event's own page, line-up, map or a playlist is fine.

3. Scams, fake tickets and fraud

No selling of tickets you cannot deliver, no asking for payment outside safe resale (bank transfers, payment requests, gift cards or crypto for tickets), no fake giveaways, crypto or investment offers, and no links that imitate a ticket shop, a bank or a login page. Buy and sell spare tickets only through the organiser's own resale or a resale platform with buyer protection.

4. Harassment, threats and bullying

No insults aimed at a person, threats, intimidation, stalking, doxxing (sharing someone's private details), or repeated messages to someone who does not want them. No sharing of photos of people who did not agree to it, in a way that harms them.

5. Hate and discrimination

No attacks on people because of their origin, skin colour, religion or belief, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age, and no glorifying of violence against them.

6. Sexual content and unwanted advances

No sexual images or explicit sexual messages in crowds. No unwanted sexual advances or comments in crowds or DMs. Flirting stops at the first “no”, and silence is a “no”.

7. Safety of minors

Nothing that sexualises minors, ever. No contacting people under 18 with sexual intent, and no asking minors to move to another app or to meet in private. Child sexual abuse material is reported to Offlimits and the police, and the account is removed for good.

8. Illegal content

Nothing that is illegal in the Netherlands or the European Union, such as selling drugs or weapons, counterfeit goods, incitement to violence, or sharing someone else's copyrighted work without permission.

9. Off-topic messages in a crowd

A crowd is for its event: getting there, the line-up, finding each other, sharing the night. Hosts may remove messages that have nothing to do with it. DMs are yours.

10. Other abuse of Crowd

No disrupting Crowd for others: no flooding, no automated accounts or scraping, no attempts to break or get around Crowd's limits, blocks, bans or suspensions.

What happens when someone breaks these guidelines

  • Report it: tap the message, profile or chat and choose Report, with a reason. Anyone, also without an account, can report illegal content through Evenitto's notice form; we confirm receipt by email and tell you our decision.
  • Hosts can remove messages and pin them. Evenitto's moderators can also remove someone from a crowd (they cannot rejoin it until the end date, or ever) or suspend Crowd for an account (it can read but cannot send, react or join new crowds). Reports about the safety of minors are handled first.
  • You are told why. When we remove your message or restrict your account, you get a statement by email and in Crowd that says what we restricted, why, on which section of these guidelines or which law, and whether automated means were used. Today every decision is made by a person; an automated spam check only watches and decides nothing. Photos are also checked automatically; that check only alerts our moderators and decides nothing.
  • You can appeal within six months, from the statement in Crowd or by emailing [email protected]. A person looks at it again and tells you the outcome. You can also go to court.
  • If you are in danger, call 112.

Questions about moderation: [email protected]. A notice or order from an authority: [email protected].
